Dr. El Mokhtar Essassi, professor at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco, specializes in heterocyclic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, mass spectrometry, and catalysis. He has supervised over 120 theses and published nearly 800 peer-reviewed articles. He founded the Laboratory of Organic Heterocyclic Chemistry and the Moroccan Group of Heterocyclic Chemistry. He served as director of the Nanocomposites Center at MAScIR from 2010 to 2019. A member of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Techniques since 2006, he also holds editorial roles and reviews for scientific journals. ![]() Pr. Dr. Pierre Harvey UDS, CanadaPr. Dr. Pierre Harvey holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Montreal (1983) and a Ph.D. from McGill University (1986). He conducted postdoctoral research at Caltech and MIT. His work focuses on organometallic and conjugated polymers. He has published notable work on donor-acceptor energy gaps, polyoligopeptides, and metalloporphyrin polymers. Dr. Harvey serves on editorial boards of key journals and has been funded by agencies such as CRNS and the Canadian government. His contributions have earned him a strong international reputation. Dr. Stefan Chassaing studied at the University of STRASBOURG (FRANCE) where he obtained his PhD in 2006 under the supervision of Raymond BROUILLARD. After his PhD studies on polyphenol chemistry, he stayed in STRASBOURG for a first post-doctoral stay in the group of Jean SOMMER on zeolite chemistry. After a second post-doctoral stay in the group of Stéphane QUIDEAU at BORDEAUX (FRANCE) on polyphenol chemistry and hypervalent-iodine chemistry, he was recruited in 2008 as assistant professor by the University of TOULOUSE. In 2013, he began his independent research career as group leader in a multidisciplinary institute. He was promoted associate professor in 2015 and after returning in STRASBOURG in 2018, he took up his present position in 2024 as Full Professor of Organic Chemistry. He is currently author of > 70 peer-reviewed articles & book chapters. His scientific interests include the development of synthetic green methods & the development of chemical tools for therapeutics & diagnosis. ![]() Pr. Dr. Federico Rosei UniTs, ItalyPr. Dr. Federico Rosei is a full professor at INRS, Canada, and holds the Chair in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Trieste, Italy. He also holds the UNESCO Chair in Materials and Technologies for Conversion, Saving, and Storage of Energy. His research on nanomaterials has resulted in more than 490 publications and 26,200 citations. Dr. Rosei has held research chairs in Canada, co-invented three patents, and spoken at more than 375 international conferences. He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada and the American Physical Society, and has received several prestigious awards, including the F.W. Bessel Prize and the Guggenheim Fellowship. ![]() Pr. Dr. Naji AlDahoudi Invited at the UPJVProf. Dr. Naji AlDahoudi, Professor of Physics & Materials Science Engineering at Al Azhar University-Gaza (Palestine), specializes in functional nanomaterials for renewable energy (solar cells), antimicrobial coatings, gas sensors, and medical glass. With over 35 academic semesters of teaching, he has supervised MSc/PhD theses and published in international journals. Awarded the Fulbright Fellowship (USA), DAAD scholarship (Germany), and the 1st Prize from the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils (2014), he secured funding (Qatar Charity, Al Maqdisi Program, Qatar Red Crescent) to advance nanotechnology in energy and healthcare.
