Pr. Dr. El Mokhtar Essassi

UM5, Morocco

Pr. Dr. El Mokhtar Essassi, professor at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco, specializes in heterocyclic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, mass spectrometry, and catalysis. He has supervised over 120 theses and published nearly 800 peer-reviewed articles. He founded the Laboratory of Organic Heterocyclic Chemistry and the Moroccan Group of Heterocyclic Chemistry. He served as director of the Nanocomposites Center at MAScIR from 2010 to 2019. A member of the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Techniques since 2006, he also holds editorial roles and reviews for scientific journals.

Pr. Dr. Pierre Harvey

UDS, Canada

Pr. Dr. Pierre Harvey holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Montreal (1983) and a Ph.D. from McGill University (1986). He conducted postdoctoral research at Caltech and MIT. His work focuses on organometallic and conjugated polymers. He has published notable work on donor-acceptor energy gaps, polyoligopeptides, and metalloporphyrin polymers. Dr. Harvey serves on editorial boards of key journals and has been funded by agencies such as CRNS and the Canadian government. His contributions have earned him a strong international reputation.

Dr. Stefan Chassaing

UniStra, France

Dr. Stefan Chassaing is a faculty member at the Institute of Chemistry, Strasbourg, and a researcher in the LASYROC team, specializing in organic chemistry. After earning his Ph.D. in 2006, he worked on flavonoid chemistry and zeolite catalysis. He also focused on ellagitannin chemistry and hypervalent iodine during his postdoctoral research. Chassaing joined the University of Toulouse in 2008 and became head of the SOMo team at the Institute of Advanced Technologies in Life Sciences in 2013. His research focuses on green synthesis methodologies and the development of chemical tools for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

Pr. Dr. Federico Rosei

UniTs, Italy

Pr. Dr. Federico Rosei is a full professor at INRS, Canada, and holds the Chair in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Trieste, Italy. He also holds the UNESCO Chair in Materials and Technologies for Conversion, Saving, and Storage of Energy. His research on nanomaterials has resulted in more than 490 publications and 26,200 citations. Dr. Rosei has held research chairs in Canada, co-invented three patents, and spoken at more than 375 international conferences. He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada and the American Physical Society, and has received several prestigious awards, including the F.W. Bessel Prize and the Guggenheim Fellowship.

Dr. Amlan Kumar Pal

IIT Jammu, India

Dr. Amlan Kumar Pal, assistant professor of chemistry at IIT Jammu, specializes in artificial photosynthesis, renewable energy, and the photophysics and photochemistry of organometallic complexes. With a Ph.D. from the University of Montreal (2014), he has contributed to solid-state lighting technologies like OLEDs and LEECs. A recipient of the SHEN 2023 Best Researcher Award and the 2021 Young Researcher in Chemistry Award, he has held a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of St Andrews. A member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, his work is supported by organizations such as the RSC and Newton-Bhabha Fund, fostering significant international collaborations.
